Selected for last year’s BBC Directors Scheme, Lotus is a director-writer, passionate about creating bold, dynamic character driven work. Her latest award winning short, UNSEEN was commissioned by ARRI and had its broadcast premiere on ARTE TV, screening to the French and German regions.

Lotus wrote, cast, directed and co-produced her first short MAN OF ME DREAMS after graduating from East 15 Acting School which led to a stint in primetime TV production, including directing inserts for Jonathan Ross’ IT’S ONLY TV,..BUT I LIKE IT for BBC1 and as 1st A.D. on Peter Kay’s Pilot / first series for Channel 4.
She then directed THE EXPIRATION, an evocative and sensual short inspired by John Donne’s poem. 



Lotus’ haunting screenplay UNDERTOW was selected for the BFI Network Live Script Read at Encounters Film Festival. She was winner of The Script Factory Development Scheme and also a participant of the prestigious WFTV Mentoring Scheme, Creative England Talent Module and BFI Network x BAFTA Crew 2021. 



Lotus is currently in post-production with her BFI funded short film RE-LIVE, a powerful depiction of how the psychological phenomenon of dissociation manifests through the trauma and recovery of sexual assault. She is currently writing an erotic noir feature BLEEDING HEART, whilst developing her directorial feature debut, a gripping thriller, ON THE LINE with Christine Alderson and Katie Hodgkin at Ipso Facto Productions.
